since you've asked the question,
I think it only fair that I
answer with a suggestion.
You know it's not about the points...
right??? Surely you know that!!!
It's all about those trophies,
keeping up, tit for tat.
Yes, I must say those trophies
surely mean a whole lot.
It's because they're given,
by the talent and can't be bought.
Points on the other hand,
are only good for a few things.
They can't be used to inspire,
they can't be used to pull strings.
So, let me tell you what I'd do,
if I were so "lucky" huh...to win.
I'd give all those stinkin points away,
to each of my allpoetry kin.
Of course I'd have to stipulate,
with the points come obligation.
Contest host to pay it forward,
and a thanks for participation.
