Blackbirds for sale:
They'll whistle pretty tunes from their cages.
They're well-suited for our cold climate.
Novelties for your home
During the winter months.
Pretty little blackbirds for sale.
Blackbirds for sale:
They'll sing haunting tunes from their shackles.
They've adapted well to our warm climate from their own.
Necessities for your field
During planting and harvesting seasons.
Strong young blackbirds for sale.
They'll whistle pretty tunes from their cages.
They're well-suited for our cold climate.

True;
Reminds me of the Underground railway and the quilts left on window sills of houses to indicate a house of refuge - it was all a code, a metaphor of hiding under God's caring protection. This is good; I'm glad you explained a little in your notes, because for a while there I was confused.
