nibble dawn around its edges
and watches Lake Erie
exhale drops of September
upon her skin.

Whadafluff...
all my words just disappeared...
ok, let's start over.
Basically, I said that I loved the words you used, especially the imaging of nibbling dawn, that one was really interesting
.
Oh, and who's simone?
GREAT job
diggin it majorly

The poem was from a picture prompt, and I gave the nameless woman in the picture a name. I chose a French name because it was the painter's nationality.
Glad you enjoyed it.
