With wild imagination and big smiles
We thunder through the trees
Feet pounding on the dirt
This is where we belong
Free from the binds of society
No rules hold us back
Children aren't supposed to be
Completely compliant to the world's demands just yet
Shouts of joy
Look what we've found!
Everything is different
Green instead of grey surrounds us
Falling back into the grass
Content, we gaze at at the stars
Our ancestors watch us play
Twinkling brightly, wind whispering in our ears
Closing our eyes, we let the Earth's lullabies
Relax our tired muscles, overworked brains
The moon protects us, innocent souls
Not yet tainted by the knowledge of the world
Soon we return to our binding prison
Bricks and cement suffocating
But for now, we are sleeping soundly
Friends bound by imagination
We sleep in the grasses
Soundly resting in our weekend beds
Four children, side by side
Dreaming, we are rejoined once more in the sky

yes, that is one of the options
and you painted a great memory in this write.
