The first scene of events,
well it tingled to the bone,
it was only then I realized,
just how much I was alone.
She waltzed right in,
and took my breath away,
I thought my life had changed,
in a birth of a new day.
Time slipped by so quickly,
a chain of loving events,
in moments of all the passion,
our love was so intense.
But like the seasons change,
the mind can quickly too,
and before I could take a breath
I realized that I'd lost you.
It’s just the same old story,
one I must now own,
lost in the wrong place,
I should have known.
