My mom and sisters raised me
to be a gentle man
Soft spoken and quiet
often I get called names
because they don't understand
They know that I am
different than them
that I care way to much
that I love all things
Just because I don't want
to hunt and kill
Does that make me less of a man??
I don't play sports
I never did
I don't dress preppy
I don't have cool hair
I'm a ghost of a man
living quietly in the past
on my own now
and no one is around
so I wear my dresses and hose
and be what they think I am
I'm a sissy, yes I am
I wear panties yes I do
I like high heels
and pretty scarves
to hide my adam's apple
I'll do it in silence
and dance around
because no one cares
to understand me
I'm not pretty
like you are
don't make fun of me
don't make jokes
learn to love me
for who I am
Author notes
I wrote this about a crossdressing friend of mine. I'm actually female. ^-^

thank you for entering -
I loved this poem...just made you want to grab him
and kiss his face one hundred times!
WE just have not evolved enough yet in America to
embrace the importance of the beautiful soul
trapped inside.
ears/Seattle
proud of you for using your poetic voice for those
who may be too timid to write it!
