Diffusing timeless ambitions and telling our sugary love stories,
I could feel the rain filtering out everything but our consciences.
The air was thick with our thoughts - and the humidity.
We figured the windows had been left open because
the couch we were sitting on was moist with dew of the morning,
even our skin stuck as we embraced.
I could feel heat permeating me as you whispered in my ear.
The few words you got out were just enough to tear the air from both of our lungs
and steal the only sane part of our minds that were left.
I was spiralling, or maybe I had just stopped,
whatever happened, I lost my since of reality.
It wasn't that I was searching for the right words to say,
on the contrary, I have had them planned since I had met you.
I didn't know how to verbalize them.
So, through the fog that seeped through the mesh on the window frames
I whispered my own simple words close to your other ear.
And believe me, I was sincere.
I love you, so yes.
Author notes
I thought I might try something different with an old poem of mine.
It wasn't even very good but I got a gold on it anyway.
--
I purposely made my poem messy this time.
All of my others were all perfectly uniform
and I was getting sick of it.
Oh look, I'm doing it again... ^^

So just as a random guess, this is definitely Emily Ankrom writing this poem.
