Not missing you

Any time I feel alone I close my eyes
You are there and I can feel you hold me tight
In my mind I hear the sound of little sighs
And I know we'll share a dream in bed tonight

Though you're far away from me across the sea
Deep inside I know that you are by my side
I'm aware you're always there to set me free
I have cried that you are near but you must hide

In my dreams I kiss your lips and taste your breath
Feel your body close to mine and wide awake
So I know that I am yours until my death
And my love and all I am is yours to take

Hold me close and make me know that you are mine
When we meet I'll taste each sweet and drink your wine

Line 8 over-runs, but I like the way this one flows. Nifty.

The first foot on line eight has 4 syllables I guess, in my horrible London way I tend to read "It is not" not just as "it's not" but as "'s'not"
