Distraction

Missing image
. . . accentuated curves in
voluptuous shades of russet,
cascading fabric pours
color over me.
He chose this
lovely dress for me; a
beautiful present...
He said sure honey,
let me help you
after I bathe you,
which might take hours. . .
and hours later, here we are.
no where near our apartment.

That gaze of his disconcerts,
a sea of people divide us,
but his eyes
show me a heated demeanor;
I feel it, under my dress,
caressing me. . .
. . .and from
across the room,
my mind numbing need,
it gets so I cannot concentrate.
People talk, I hear nothing,
because I cannot escape his focus.
I am not afraid, not in the least.
In fact, I want so much for him
to touch me right now,
in front of everyone,
party people,
party food, party music,
it all fades away.

All I can hear is my breath
catching in my throat, his
strong and calloused observation,
his stare; fills the place
only he can. .

Control I give him over me
is absolute, and so I wait. . .
I wait until there's
no more reason to resist;
I walk with purpose toward the restroom,
he follows me. . .
As I knew he would. . .

Though I'm young I'm old in wisdom. And your writing seems just as somber sister dear. Though it hides in it's own mask. It's a shard of hope, a tiny glimmer in an intense blackness. Like you keep reaching towards trust in all these poems. I'm hoping to become a lyricist. Wish me luck.

    I'll be right back!

OK, pheeew, sorry I had to go take a cold shower real quick! Now what do I like best about this poem...
Ummm...everything? What a vivid picture. Shower time again. Why this guy ever left the apartment in the first place is what I don't understand! Forget the party!
    Reaction
    Put that dress sweet heart...
    no dear, you misunderstood,
    put on only the dress...
my love, you are so beautiful
    those cascading fabrics pour
the colors over your voluptous curves.
It accenuates your sensual body so well.
    I feel guilty dear...
truly bought this dress for you,
    but admiring you in it...
    was a meant for myself.
    Let's stay in, dance
in front of the fireplace with...
with the fire and the candle light
casting upon you my vision of beauty.
Can you feel me caressing you with my eyes...
    underneath your dress...
    from across the room.
    y mind is numb...
    I cannot break my focus.
    Don't be afraid my love.
    I want so much...
just to touch you right now.
I'm glad we're not at the party,
I could not resist to touch...
    there in front of everyone.
    I can feel my heart
    beating in my throat.
    Come with me,
    there's no need to resist.
    follow me to the shower...
where I will gladly bath you...
though it will last for hours!
