From distant shores I hear you
Calling me back to my clan,
Whispers carried from over the sea
Reaching the shore of Ardnamurchan,
My restless spirit was longing
To reach out and be set free,
So now I sit on rocky shore
And gaze upon ice cold sea,
As I look upon the horizon
I know I will never come home,
Ardnamurchan is where I am seated
This is where my spirit will roam,
On the shore of this unspoilt coastline
Silence so deafeningly loud,
No-one here to disturb me
Just sea and gathering cloud,
My spirit is settled and peaceful
Distant shores don't matter to me,
Ardnamurchan is where I am settled
On my rock at the edge of the sea.
