You are the ship,
the sail and the sea,
composer and harp,
the voice and the sound compounded
to gust and mistral,
and a breeze potpourri.
Your tenderness
caresses the petals of my shell,
metamorphosis changes me
and my shy body follows
the shape of your wishes like clay
touched by your sculpting hands.
Each morning
I wake up from sea foam,
from the bed you made for me
out of white sand and pruned red seaweeds.
I float on your imperishable deck,
my gaze follows the blurred line of horizons,
there were times ago mythical sirens sang,
there where gryphons have flown on zephyrs' wings.
You dressed my soft, pink flesh
the whiteness of your sails,
I live breathing the salt of your breath,
your music is joy to my ears
and I immerge into you
to the beauty of your waves
to the beauty of your depth.

So true and so much universally thought verse brining the depth to the poetry of yours..The impact is very much power around the each image my friend..well done..
-
I read this poem on a metaphysical level ...
and it resounds with spirituality. Biblical and pure.

“my shy body follows the shape of your wishes” – the paradox of shyness and following, dressing this poem into the beauty of fluttering flowering fields and the fragrance of supine sweating bodies. there is hidden eroticism in this piece, so subtle that it is no more than an eyeblink into heaven, but what a magnificent eyeblink...

You are one of the rare poets who know to read it the right way, you are the one who between the eye blinks see under the all layers of my lines.

This is beautiful and I absolutely love the nautical metaphor you've applied here. Makes me want to sing "i am sailing..let's sail away". As always, romantic and sensual and simply lovely.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
There are so many things in this world that are beautiful in their own ways. Everywhere you look or go there is a special beauty all its own. So many just cannot see that and miss out on so much.
Here you have used many very different kinds of beauty to show how much one means to you.
