Succumbing to the darkness,
lost in pain and injustice;
having fallen far from the grace of the Lord,
no more does His light shine upon you.
Tinted black,
as you succumb,
a thing of darkness.
You feel betrayed,
wronged,
you've been sinned against,
and Father let it happen...
why does He so good,
allow bad things to betide?
You question your faith,
but we still believe,
He doesn't care where you've been,
or what you've seen,
He only asks that you trust in Him.
Forget what they say,
don't let the Devil take you,
you'll bleed for him;
hurt for him.
Here's your chance,
to save yourself,
with His help,
save yourself...
from becoming Lucifer's toy...
save yourself...
from becoming a thing of darkness.
