A day without you
I can’t fathom
the sun would refuse to shine
your smile, no longer mine
without you
I’m a mere shell
completely empty at best
without you in my arms
emptiness, a void so vast
a gaping hole, a torn soul
a heart would beat senselessly
no warmth brought by
your fingertips
and whom would I choose to kiss
without you
my life’s lost
no reason to wake
no reason to walk
I lie in your arms tonight
and say
a day without you
impossible

Being apart from the one we love should always seem impossible, always be interminable, to be at ease with is might just suggest we aren't in love.
If it is based on a real love, congratulations and I will you an eternity of happiness.

I can relate, without the love in our life, lot of emptiness remains, and unhappiness. This was simple caring with love, and felt sooo good. Thank you for sharig your heart.
