A streak of black
Momentarily obscures the sun
He will carry out his duty,
The angel's work has begun
Since the birth of the universe,
From the rest of the world, he has hidden
For a mortal's knowledge
Of his existence is forbidden
On this apocalyptic day
He will finally awaken
For it is his great duty
To destroy the race God has forsaken
Awakening from his long slumber,
His back began to burst
Ebony feathers painfully emerge
And he agonizingly spreads the wings with which he was cursed
Then from his home above the stars
He falls through time and space
He looks 'round as he descends
He is quiescent to the humans' disgrace
Slowly he lands upon the earth
Nothing is hidden from his pitiless black eyes
He sees all the wrongs that man has done
The deceit, the hate, the lies
As one, all greedy human faces
Turn up to the skies with fear
As the destroying angel swoops down,
They know: the judgment day is here.

Sorry if this was a bit too long for your liking ^_^; And looking back on it, this was pretty dark for me... lol.
