Pretty good write. Straight to the put, short and sweet and tells the reader of his greatest interest. Sidewinder is a nice name for a bucking horse. Can picture that. Sort of like The strawberry roan - Marty Robins song. I sort of saw a similar situation. A real bucker, never beaten. Well done. Another old poem worth looking at.

I checked the prompt - unique take! I'm puzzled though, sidewinder is the name for a horse that bucks with a screwing motion - so who was your love, the rider or the horse? and who got the busted head?
