Painted in Stone

I see the beauty,
though you hide,
I see the doubt
in your glorious eyes

Please do not shun,
do not turn away,
let me come close
I beg you to stay

A few moments longer
shall I look upon this face
and a few more whispers
I'll fall in love with Grace

Angel of mine,
let me paint you in stone
so this beauty may also
to the world, be known.
