On this The USA's fated month of sorrow
Brings a smile to my face for a change
For i too had a tragedy that forlorned me for years
But now my life is fresh and rearranged.
No longer am i fearful of that once that had harmed me.
No longer do i fret or fear walking out my door.
I still have much healing to pursue and partake.
The memory doesnt haunt me day and night, evermore.
I still jump at times due to the surprise of the noise.
Heart palpitates shock, lessened by heavenly love.
Thanks to those who have befriended me and cared.
I am slowly becoming normal, a new life thereof.
Fear no longer greats thy night, only joy filled abundance.
Grown in stregnth as each embraceable sunlit breath inhaled.
I care not what others think for i am existance personified.
I, Goddess of my soul, have exhaled.
Please tell me what you think

A very fine poignant write, indeed. Imagery, rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Thanks for sharing this one with us. -
