Tough Lil' Soldier

You talked about it for awhile,
And now the time has come.
Ever since you were a child,
Your parents lovely son.
You've gone through basic training,
And AIT too.
You went in complaining,
And was brought our anew.
The world is different to you now,
You are stronger in every way.
People look and go 'Wow'.
And to everyone they say,
That's my hero,
I want to be like him.
He's no  zero,
He acts on a whim.
He defends our freedom,
His life on the line.
We always need him,
He's there on a dime.
So lift that chin high,
And toughen up little solder.
Your limits the sky,
No one else is bolder.
