Death grabs at us
Takes hold and refuses to let go
He's like the rapist,
Raping us of all good
Leaving us shriveled up
Living in fear
When the fear and pain are to much
And we just want to give up and die
The Father comes.
He takes us gently by the hand
And if we're too weak to walk
He reaches down
And lifts us up
Carrying us through the hard time,
Taking us to a place
Where fear doesn't exist
Where all pain and sorrow are washed away.

Beautiful written and so true!
It's a wonderful feeling to know that there is
someone out there that we can count on
through it all!

Great write here
Yes we often go through hell before we feel him there for we so find our strength through his mercy

Very good. It reminds me of the footprints in the sand.
One oopsie/typo
'too' should be instead of 'to'.
I will feature this. Let's flood the gates so someone comes!
