A lost and broken soul alone in this world,
Left to struggle for life, or give in to death.
Few places to turn, no support to speak of,
A desperate broken man, tormented by fate.
With a bright fresh day came a glimpse of hope,
New seeds of love took root and flourished.
Young lovers rejoiced, a commitment commenced,
Life began to change, the darkness subsided.
A once obscure notion had finally been enacted,
Two destined soul mates had finally been united.
Once a ridiculous proposition, the pairing of such people,
Now it’s a sincere reality, a true unforeseen fate.
May their love mature; grow stronger by the day,
Let them stay together forever, their love never wither.
The paths of two souls, now eternally intertwined,
Embarking together wherever life may take them.

I wrote this poem in about 10 minutes, so it's probably not that good.
