Nightmare of his dishevelled silhouette
conjures the inevitable realisation of my darkest dread
being once again chased from night to night
from creaking doors to blood soaked sheets
only I know this time
he cannot kill what is already dead

Great imagery. So much said in such a short amount of words. This is a great write. Makes me think of memories of my own, some that I had locked away bc they were too painful to think about, yet...maybe...I should just move them out of the way.Teriffic write!!
