OPTION 3 Still Winter Loch Voil by Tom Barron

Missing image

Still waters draw me to it's seeking form
where winds are calmed resisting threatening storm,
harsh craggy rocks once scanned by warring foe
hold mysteries and legends long ago.

Below the deepest point lie spears in rust
dissolving slowly into weeds and dust,
as sifting silt and weaving fish duet
old ghosts where lovers lingered pirouette.

Dark mirror to the sky the water lies
breathing hypnotic mists into our eyes,
cool winds awake fortelling threatening storm
we disappear into it's seeking form.
