Changed

I've come to the end of a road
with a hard fought battle behind
so many memories in tow

The sun is high in the sky
and it's so hard to see
what lies ahead
and I fear...
don't we all?

I walked alone for a time
found who I have become
a change from one man
to another

Will they recognize this face
this man I am now
Will they know me
will they want to
anymore

What sort of menace am I
now that I am me
to those that remember
another man
another time

I finally graduated from Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, valedictorian...perfect attendance, etc. Just some personal thoughts....

    It sounds as though you have not only achieved a great milestone in your life, but in doing so have discovered much about yourself.

    this is a great poem my friend. i think we all fear a little when we've been gone for a while, when we've changed, and they've changed.... change is just kinda scary. congrats on graduating! and veledictorian with perfect attendance, quite an accomplishment! GREAT job!!!

    glorious. From your words, it tells its all. I think that you have truly found out who you are, and what you can become.You truly know yourself. I have been depressed but I realize that half of my depression was that I didnt know myself. What i mean is that i didnt know myself as I should.when you have figure out who you then no one can change who you are and no mattr what problems you undertake, you will defeat them. Because innately You realize you have truly become what god wanted you to be brillant.Great write and deep thought.
