Snow gently falls
upon the frozen landscapes of my mind
My breath halted in an agonized scream
Into the night it reaches no one
Mercy evades my faltering grasp
My sanity a string held only by God
Lord in heaven I pray to thee
Save my soul from my wretched self
Bloody bellowing voices seduce
Cripple my will to move onward
Ice clanking in front of bitten toes
Home I go, or so I thought once
Love has now forsaken me
Hair tossles my anguished tears
I climb to my death sleep
Blanketed by my mortal fears
The morning of the white, cold day
Love and chasity interplay
Burdens and expectations shifting
A flurry of love now drifting.
What did you think

God, that's a great line!
-Love and chasity interplay-
It's really nice sounding... (I know, I sound like a loon)
I love the analogy in this. But it's kinda sad...Like love is never expected, never hoped, never dreamed, just wanted. (That's how I see it...)

Thank You
Thank you for your reply. I was a litte unsure about which artwork to use for the picture.
It is kind of sad because it is about realizing when the love of your life "relationship" is ending. The frustration of not being able to change the brutal truth and how cold it makes you feel inside..almost like part of you is dying.
I actually wrote this and put it away for awhile due to the intensity behind the words. It took me a long time to post it. Sigh.
I like your sobbing avatar. LOL
