Sad Fairy

Her thoughts her own;
gossamer wings sparkle
in reflected moonbeams;
with sad downcast eyes
this fairy sadly mourns
every time a child
stops believing.

    Your choice of words so gently touch our eyelids as we read, and then your association of the sad fairy mourning "every time a child stops believing" makes this a treasure of a write...Bookmarking!

    Liked the presentation on this page - they fit right with the image you have used in the side bar. Still many new children that believe all the time, making up for those who no longer do.
