My eyes dry out from staying open wide all night.
They're still in disbelief of everything they've seen.
So what if it's all a dream?
At least I've learned my lessons...
Orange rays flash as stars come tumbling,
tracing the place where your face would lay.
So what if it's all a dream?
At least I've witnessned magic...
Supernatural grace guards everything I can't
in ways I could only imagine before.
So what if it's all a dream?
At least I finally feel protected...
The smell of your shoulder still lingers--
I can't clear this beautiful stench.
So what if it's all a dream?
At least I've seen pure beauty...
And my eyes are still open in disbelief
of the perfect things that they have seen.

That really stuck out to me for some reason. I like how you called a stench beautiful. Interesting word choice, but made for a great read and really grabbed my attention.
Warmest,
Mylee
