What hides behind your frozen smile
Could it be the lovely memory of his warm and trembling lips
Once to have brushed softly against your own
Would it be the comfort
That comes from knowing
As his flesh rest within the core of your own
Did he close every window
Refusing to see the light hidden deep within your precious soul
In staggering steps
He attempts to dance along within the rhythm of your enchanting eyes
Did he take forgranted the taste of your lips
In the blinding moment of magic
That rose from eternal smile
Are those thoughts now hushed by the gentle winds
That wrap around you as they cradle your soul
Are you lost to sunsets whisper
With the desire to slowly fade
Will your soul float father away
Past the moments of heavenly touch
As you linger in the comfort of his memory
From the sound of his voice
Do you ride along the sea's rhythm
With the desire to have it hold you
Such a delicate state of haze
With the tide gently by your side
Still his voice fails to lay upon your ear
A sweet thick echo
That once sang it's siren of song
With the memory of warm breath placed upon your tender neck
Do you question this moment of solace
As it argues with question's of his all mighty intentions
Will you reclaim the sea as your own
Dismissing this moment of budding memory
With the promise of newborn passion
Claim each smile~
And every thought
As your own
Open the gates to your garden
Release his greatest temptation
Allow them to become lost upon the gentle winds
As you restore your soul
In your moment of solitude
Listen as the soft winds speak to you
Sadaha let go~
Warm sand beckon flesh
With gentle licking of toes
Your bare back against sea
As dunes watch with envy
Tempting winding vine
Invites nimble fingers
Accept invitation
Feel the stillness without voice
As it fails to stumble past velvet lips
Explore the intertwining of serpentine tongue
As waves lap against bare hips
Depths of passion gather strength
As it rides the currents of progressive waters
Laying white laced veil upon bare breast
Releasing her soul to her beloved sea
If he believed to have witness it once
As it began to stir throughout her soul
Acknowledging
That it could be felt within the depth of her eyes
Claiming to have tasted it
Just once
In the magic of her eternal smile
As moonlight rest upon her bare shoulders
Reclaiming each and every smile
Sadaha once again returns to her beloved sea~

For some unknown reason this write changed 4 times...
I suppose a bit of Sadaha resides in us all...
As women we are forever evolving into so much more~
Sadaha smiles~

beautifully written....
Feel the stillness without voice
As it fails to stumble past velvet lips
Explore the intertwining of serpentine tongue
As waves lap against bare hips
I really love this stanza.

Laying white laced veil upon bare breast
Releasing her soul to her beloved sea
These lines are profoundly moving. I love the repetition of encouraging Sadaha to let go. Sadaha seems to be lost in her own thoughts of a lost love that has washed ashore with her.

It has been a while since I read this piece and I see may things that I would change..lol...
One thing of this write I would not would be the repetition, I really feel that it gave it the depth that I had wanted the readers to feel,
Once again I thank you for your wonderful feedback...smiles

What a beauty-full, soulful poem this is that speaks to every woman! The beauty of your soul shines through and rises above each and every word. The part that really spoke to me was the middle section, from "claim each smile" to "Sadaha let go". SO happy that I've decided to visit your pages tonight - you always leave me such wonderful comments!

And the effect of reading this poem is like being slowly washed away by the waters of the sea in my case as i sit on the sand and every motion of the water is like a gentle touch. I felt Such soft gentle feelings envelop me. You painted with mists and whispers that fade instantly, but linger in the memory, to be replaced again with new ones. So stunningly beautiful and slightly melancholic. Bravo!! *clap clap*

Ah, the perspective as witnessed below is a thing of mystery and beauty here; silhouettes shifting from
observation to insight and back again. The main character seems a waif, elusive to that which chains mere mortals. The ending all but solidifies this as
she slips back into her expanse, her element, her
depths. There is metaphor here and it is subtle behind these words of fundamental language. A beautiful response to the prompt that flows (probably better) without the punctuation. Blue

Sadaha does reside in all women, for such is like the eternal rhythm of the tides and its celestial heartbeat against the shore.
Indeed, we are creatures of and from the mother ocean which calls us back through every cell and corpuscle in our body.
A most lovely and seductive write, like the caress of sunrise upon ones soul after a summer storm.
Bravo

This feels like several poems and the point of view shifted from objective to subjective to sisterly to god like observer to critical voice to philospher. Your vision and understanding of this woman and her plight are huge. i am overwhelmed by it. Perhaps there should be chapters so I can stop to catch my breath, stop and prepare for the next plunge. Something caught you and suddenly a world of understanding caught wing and sang in your poetic vision. I am astounded, stunned, overwhelmed, beaten down by language. Too many things to stop and point to any single one. Amazing.
so I both love it and and wary of it. I argue with it and am perhaps a little threatened by it. don't know.
Peace,
Tom B.
