It's Hallow's Eve, full moon is glowing
Twilight approaches, wild winds blowing
Night is calling, and the time is now
As Dracula lurks while wolverines howl
The cauldron cackles atop it's flame
Echo's eerily whisper your name
Witches casting their evil spells
Rising demons straight out of hell
Lost souls are screeching in the streets
Munchkins are begging for tasty treats
Bats begin to spread their fright
Ghosts and goblins haunt the night
Spiders scamper across cobwebs and wait
Jack-o-lanterns grin 'cuz it's getting late
Skeletons dance on their empty graves
Vampires seek the blood they crave
Black cats and bad luck walk hand in hand
Delivering tricks, just like they planned
Zombie's and spirit's play hide and seek
Mummy's and monster's begin to creep
Coffins creak as bones break out
Spooky fun is what it's all about
Ghoulish laughter fills the air
Halloween's coming, so don't be scared...

haha, so cute. I really liked this. The background is awesome as well. Nice rhyme flow and structure. Good imagery, just like Halloween night. I can see the scene set in my mind's eye.

i love it! i love the rhyming! my favorite line was "halloween's coming, so don't be scared", after you wrote about vampire and wolves and witches and creepy things on halloween eve and then say don't be scared!

Thanks for following rules and entering. I adore this it's cute and light hearted, while at the same time being creepy with all the halloween scenes. Good work, could use a little work on flow, not with rhyms those were good and not forced, but I think in the first stanza line 4, it could be smoother.

I love it! The rhyme and flow is great, and the whole thing is totally on topic and pretty spooky, with awesome descriptions! You use some apostrophes where there shouldn't be any, but it doesn't distract too much. Best wishes in the contest!
