Hollywood and fairy tales
paint their lying pictures
of false romance and happiness
If you don't fit the role
of the leading man or lady

Happily ever after, was the end
of a bedtime story, that made us sleep
there is not truth in those three words
An over-rated line, that's only found
as the novella finds it's benediction
and gives us all a pretentious hope

pretentious hope. yeah, fuck that, huh? Wouldn't want to misconstrue any unhappily ever afters. Funny our benedictions are what save our wretched souls, but only after we let it. As I said, fuck all that. GIVE ME, the I HATE YOUS, those are so much easier to believe. Love is manipulation, simple as that. This kind of love anyway. There's another kind. I duno if anyone knows what they're really talkinga about. It's called unconditional love. It's rare I hear. Most loves I've ever known have had some kind of strings attached, to strangle you with
