September 11th 2001, we will never forget

September 11th, 2008
So, here is a quetion so many songs have hit on,

Where were you on that fatefull day?

I remember where I was, I was in the middle of my tiny private school. My teacher kept going into her office to answer the phone, then coming out crying. I was closest to her door, so I was the first to know somthing was wrong, she then pulled her daughter out of the big classroom full of kids ages eight to eighteen. Moments later we looked to her door to be greeted by tear tracked faces and anguished cries. She began telling us what had happened. It was hard to understand, I was only in fourth grade. I thought about my mom, she had finally stopped getting called to go away with the navy, my worst fear was coming to pass they would take her again. I started to get hysterical as parents started picking up their children but there I was eating my favorite lunch, the little mini hot pockets (yes I remember it all). Finally after all but four kids had left my step dad walked in. Had they taken my mom without letting her say goodbye? I had no dea.

After I got home and saw my mom things started to make more sense.

That was my September 11th 2001.

I will never forget that day, it is etched into us all as a rememberance that no matter how great you are, you can fall and you can fail.
