"Something about this old likely life
Gets me down, makes me think,
How hard we humans come from strife;
Pasts, faces, voices screaming."
She dazes out the windowsill
Almost dreaming without sleep.
The lights flash emptily inviting,
Watching herself finally leap.
Never moving from that spot
I think, How wonderful how grand
She finds she is crashing
Then remembers she forgot how to land
Thoughts of feeling lost engulf
By the huge glass pane
Feel them creeping on the night
A friend excepting her pain
"A soul is lost within a meaningless life
It finds less of itself and fades away
This city eats at you, exciting and sad
It makes you see that it's just another day."
