To wear a mask
Is to try and hide
What may be your darker side
What is there may not object of lust
So conceal it you think you must
There is one thing that can take this away
Which we may come across everyday
Love
Author notes
Just something I am thinking of writing on a back of a photo of myself that I am giving to someone as a present, was thinking of reverseing it in the frame so when it was first unwrapped she will see this first and then latter find out it is a photo.
What did you think

Hmm
It's been a long time since I've seen anything from you.
Last poem before this was in 2006. I don't come here often anything, but when I do it's nice to see new stuff.
The only part that seems phrased wrong, or something of that nature, is the fourth line, "What is there may not object of lust". I would be better phrased "to lust".
The first line sticks out to me because people hide their feelings constantly by wearng masks. I wore masks for years and years, and still occassionally find myself hiding behind them. It's a meaninful, yet simple opening line.
So, you are saying that love can take away masks? Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. A very powerful thought.
In any case, it's ice to see new stuff from you Brad. ^__^
