Stipple and nipple of stunned time
drawn in like smocking on pinafore
decades’ dirges dripped slowly
pooling, betimes, on tick of trauma
someone
pulled the stopper
and like cloud, pregnant with rain,
it settled between two towers
and we all fall down

ty, i do try to remember in all I do, specifically on this day. I will never, as most won't, forget where I was and what I was doing.

Loved it,

Wow.. this was brilliant.
Beautifully penned imagery
and emotion just pouring.
What a lovely poem to write
in tragic remembrance of 9/11.
Great metaphors too.
