The nothingness is indescribable.
When it happened, I thought I was dead
as everything I had ever known and had been taught to measure by
disappeared
All my senses, taken away as if they were never given.
You will be never be able to understand what it feels like to see
nothing if you haven't been there
it's not the 'nothing' of closing your eyes and seeing black
it's the crushing type of nothingness that weighs down on you as if its the whole universe
and to hear nothing is almost unbearable as the silence of your senses turns up the volume of your mind
till it's so insanely loud you feel your going

but you persevere
so you sit in your nothingness
and you wait
then something amazing happened
for the first time I truely saw myself
not the seeing of the eyes but the seeing of the soul and i was encompassed
by it
I realised I was one with everything and I saw there was a god and I thanked him and I cried
because
losing my hearing,
losing my ability to see,
was the best damn thing
that ever happened to me
