It started as something small
And upgraded to something big
A little white lie
Destroying the Place we live.
Sucked into an abyss of hatred
Over a small amount of oil
An amount displaced in his words
Now lies something we are confined to.
Now babies are crying
People are dying
Bombs are flying
All because of a misplaced 'Zero'
This just a mere figure
Lost in his words
Has brought upon us
The destruction of the world
A once peaceful place
Beautiful bird singing
Sun shining on our lives
Families and friends living hand in hand
All of these wonders brought down
By one Measly displaced figure
By one SMALL lie...
The world as we know, Destroyed!
Author notes
This is a poem I wrote for english. It is about the effects a lie can have, weather it is on a small basis or large. It can effect so many people in so many ways, even if the lie is directed at them.

It's interesting, I'll admit. Although I don't really see a connection between all of it I can understand where you're coming from. Good job and you put the wrong whether in your AN love. xxx moni
