Where oh where are my words

I just can't believe
this is happening to me
the words are gone
can't you see.

They were here yesterday
I saw them
sitting in the swing.

Just a swinging
happily humming to a tune.

But when I looked today
they are gone
I feel so lost
deserted
betrayed.

Oh where oh where
did my words go?

Option #2 about writing. This is a pre-write from another poem and I thought it worked well with this prompt. Hope you like it. I did when I wrote it.

    Very good!

This short poem really rings true with me! It conveys some of the images and feelings I have had for the past few months! This poem is well worded and flows very well! I don't think I can offer any real constructive criticism, right now! Great job!

  • Writers block sucks huh I think that it was clever of you to write about it. I get this all the time. You have an excellent thing going here I really loved it.

  • I like this. Making a poem out of writer's block.
