What a tangled web we weave
When first we conceive
The thought of love
For the man who hurts
So ignorantly
To find his truth
For the man who hurts
So blindly
Because he does not think
For the girl who hurts
So ignorantly
As she just plays along
For the girl who hurts
So blindly
As the victim escape her mind
For the lady who hurts
So much
From the games played with her heart
For the lady that hurts
So much
Because fools think of love
What a tangled web we weave
When first we conceive
The though of love
For the man who hurts
For the girl that bruises
For the lady that aches
Such a tangled web
Of lies confusion and pain
Is brought to the surface
