The world around me

I look at this world around me,
I have come to it change,
No longer is it so dark and lonely to me,
I still feel the loneliness creep into my bones,
But my heart has come to accept this,
I look at the light that I have come to see,
Instead I see the dark shadows lurking,
Within the newborn light,
I see the dark shadows ready to kill,
This is only a short look into the world I see.
