the Call of a Summer Day

Sunny rays are beating down on your window.
 I'm up, come on out.
Get out of bed people.
I'm spreading warmth about.

The birds have been up forever.
Babies are fed and bathed.
Butterflies are a dancing.
While flowers bend and wave.

The dew has dried up,
After washing everything new.
Time to finish inside work.
Come out so I can greet you.

It has been nice to be with you.
Our day has been full of fun.
Now time to go back to bed.
For I am setting for you.
