Where does my rainbow end?
Maybe to love every now and then
What do I wish to find?
A casual question brought to my mind,
An arabesque mixture of hues, stopping;
At some unforseen point, dropping
From the air and into the abyss
I follow it with haste, into the arms of my first kiss.
Still running, I trip on a stone;
Into the feeling of never being in love alone.
I pick myself up, brush off the depression and pity,
Onto the ground of a forbidden city.
I begin again at a slower pace
Not being able to shake the vision of my love's face.
A gentle push from a small wind,
Massages my fear away and leaving the residue of a grin.
I walk through a field of aromatic roses,
Giggling at the sensation of rubbing noses.
Nearing the rainbow's end, I smile at first glance,
At the table set for two in the distance.
The sun is so bright, beaming a harsh glare,
But it doesn't deter him from pulling out my chair
I sit, in my sun-drenched future, draped in pure delight;
Though there isn't one pot of gold in sight.....

This is lovely. My favourite part was the very beginning, and my favourite image was "An arabesque mixture of hues," very creatively portrayed. quite enjoyed the irony of the last line too. Thanks for entering.
