The Piano of the Albatross

It had been a great long time
Venturing through that which I did not know
But finally I came across it...

The eighth piano...

Oddly enough
This piano's keys were large feathers
And a statue of a large bird sat atop the piano...

An albatross.

I looked upon the albatross
Having already gained a respect for them
Not easily matched in my younger life...

Looking upon the piano
New notes appeared
And so I played the feather-keys...

Death.
Blood.
Massacre.
Torture.
This is what I witnessed...

Animals of all kinds...

Dogs and cats,
Cows and horses,
Every bird that ever existed,
Every animal or mammal...
I saw from all time periods...

Being tortured...

I began to realize...
What would soon happen...

The Albatross appeared beside me...

I looked into it's eyes...
It's deep dark brown eyes...
It looked at me...
Then it spoke...

"Human, beware the next piano..."

I was then thrown away from the piano...

Author notes

Finally I found it... it has taken far too long... but finally... I nearly gave up.. but there it was. AND THANK YOU ANND FOR THE CUSTOM BACKGROUND!!!!

    whoa!

Hah! I found it! This poem made me jump. You went from cute and cuddly, to blood and guts within syllables... This one left me aching for the next poem. I'm kind of scared...but that won't stop me from reading it. Well done!

Kind of abrupt ending, but I liked it especially the idea about the keys being feathers, very interesting. How many more are there gonna be in the series?

    GREAT job
    diggin it majorly
