To close for comfort,
But far enough way to cause such pain.
My broken heart continues to break,
And the bleeding I can't contain.

Never around when I needed you,
but somehow knew that I did.
Ran away from evrything,
Because of me, you hid.

Told me lies to shut me up,
Said whatever I wanted to hear.
But the one thing you would never say,
Is all that I wanted my dear.

I simple I'm sorry,
to help stop my tears.
Or a warm hand to hold me,
To calm all my fears.

You couldn't do it though,
You were always afraid.
Never wanted it all to end,
But we watched this relationship fade.
