Hues Stand Empty
Wilted hues of rose,
petal's fold vacating greenery.
Whispers of rainbows time,
fades with scarlet sky.
Stem droops, tasting soil,
painted colors shape gray.
Weak with failing emotion,
lingering smiles erase from eyes view.
Silent cries, weep alone,
hidden under mask blooms.
Traces of hope sail,
in the bleak breeze.
Wilted hues of rose, stands empty.
