As cold as ice she fell
But never did she let herself fall
Ethereal seraph she may pretend
Yet by mortality condemned
Or could that be a moonlit gift
The silver sorrows indication
Of the cold lunar loneliness
Only silver beauty of death can deter
Don’t let the golden wings deceive
For only of lunar teardrops is she

I kinda got a little hung up on the fell and fall ending of the first two lines. Reading those two woords so closely aligned felt a bit odd to me for some reason. The closing lines are killer though. Nice take on the prompt!
