We’re just little maggots and dung beetles
that crawl around, seethe and die!
The wind we breathe does nothing!
We are just idiots who speak

So you are a beetle or larva?
Perhaps an individual means little but if you think that Joe Kennedy's great-great-great grandfather made no difference or if Lincoln's forefathers were just maggots and had no bearing on world events then you are mistaken.
Think this way for a moment. If there was no slavery in America there could never have been a Martin Luther King. All African-Americans who are descendants of slaves and all of there families, going back hundreds of years, would never have existed were it not for slavery. Children would have been born but not the children who were born.
Wars are great birth control.
A moments hesitation or a moment overealousness by your or my parents would result in us not being here.
Pheromones aside, I agree with you on principle. Your specificity is, however, lacking.
I still like the concept. cm
