Her hair brushes the sides of her cheeks perfectly
She's never hurt a fly
She would give me the shirt off her back
The tears off her cheek
The blood from her veins
Her laughter sounds like a diamond in a wine glass
Her songs are love reincarnated
Hollow and harmonized as if within a cathedral
And her eyes shine
Inspired by you
Shadows trip more than her
And everybody that meets her falls in love
Every hand she touches becomes soft
Every heart she passes stops beating
And they begin to believe in God
You look at me and tell me to shut up
I can tell I embarrass you
When you see us standing together
I have seen perfection
And I know I cannot compare
So forgive me my years-between tears
And lying on my back in mirrors
Because everybody blames me when I cry
And I suppose they're right
Because I have hurt more than flies

I chose prompt 7 and (for what it's worth) this is straight from the heart.

Oh, wow... I can't even begin to describe how your words made my heart flutter! Nothing quite like that old-fashioned weak-in-the-knees feeling to prove you're in love!
I wrote a story similar to this once, in which my main character was horribly-obsessed with his very-taken female friend, and that's what your write made me think of.
My favourite part:
"Her laughter sounds like a diamond in a wine glass
Her songs are love reincarnated
Hollow and harmonized as if within a cathedral
And her eyes shine
Inspired by you."
That little bit made me grin like an idiot as my insides turned to mush! Well done, and thank you so much for entering!
