A True Life

Missing image

Existing without life,

oblivious to the Truth of tomorrow;

darkness overshadowed the Light,

once unknown to my heart.

 

Seeing the hand of God

upon every creation,

still I kept holding back

not receiving my Salvation.

 

Love swelled within my being,

no longer under my own control;

the Holy Spirit came upon me,

biddling me to come unto Him.

 

Accepting His word and promise,

confessing the Cross and Christ;

Life truly began,

after I was imbued in His purest Love.
