Love in a City Without Sleep

The darkness is so deep,
In a city without sleep.
Rose breeze inflames the night,
And the lights are shining bright.
I shiver, it's so cold,
And your warm hand I now hold,
And your arms do hold me tight,
As our passion pulses bright.
The darkness is so deep,
In a city without sleep,
Rose breeze inflames the night,
And the lights are shining bright.
As we huddle in Times Square,
I know nothing can compare
To you, my boy, my love,
Joyful angels sing above.

    Thankyou Grandma
I got my inspiration from the song "Hey there Delilah" by the Plain White Tees, I'm not sure you've heard of it, but it is a beautiful song. thanks for your beautiful, kind words

    Excellent

A fine write, indeed. Imagery; rhythm and rhyme are just fine. Thanks for sharing this one with us. Again, well done.
