Cheers!

I'll be the first
to slake my thirst.
Frothy glass of beer,
now empty, is near.

Hey! That's really good! I like how you've put so much information into such a short poem. It's very well written!
    Great Job and Keep Writing!

    • Thank you very much. I am glad that you enjoyed the poem. It is always a challenge to write something that rhymes and is relevant in very few words.

This is not something that I do often. As a matter of fact a while ago I bought a six pack of Michelob and found, to my great dismay, they are flavoring beer with fruit. It was flavored with pomergranate and raspberry. It is as terrible as it sounds.

Thanks. I am glad you enjoyed it. I had a burst of inspiration. Then my muse died, or went on a bender.

    and it does appear
    you need to fear
    your thirst again,
    you poor poor dear

I love this my crazy friend
Funny, sweet, and charming, a combination you've mastered quite well. I've entered, but am stuck.
I should have known I should run and hide when I saw the word limit.

word limits are not my friend.
    Best wishes,
    always,
    jin

Thank you for your response. It is always good to hear from you. I hate word limits usually but my muse wanted overtime work, so I did two quick ones last night.

      Can't wait to read yours.

      Mike
