where your tiny hands
wrenched my strangled frame,
from mother's womb.
As you left for home,
your words echoed
in my mother's ears,
promising to be
my future groom.
Seasons came and went
many times,
until fate stepped in
drawing you back to my door,
as my engagement party looms.
In reading to my blind sister
you show me dedication
that I've rarely seen,
opening up her world
to trust life again
and to find love in bloom.
Now after many trials,
patience and devotion tested,
games lost and won,
I awaken to your charms.
The subtle yet lingering sigh
plays upon my heart,
just like music from another room.

We are tied to events and set free by love. You capture the dance of human topography nicely and with and almost wimsical air, which makes everything displayed that much more poignant.
Peace & Light,

Wonderful Poem
Well my friend you have captured what this movie is all about so poetically. An amazing poem to read this morning. The reader can get lost in its imagery. Sounds like it deserves a Gold to me.
Take care.

This poem is beautiful but I am a little lost to the meaning, who is the person that drew you from your mothers womb? it seems you are at first talking about your father and than maybe someone else?
-
-
the meaning is revealed in the movie of the same name as this poem, the character that pulled the baby girl from the womb was a five year old boy. This link will help you make sense of it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_from_Another_Room_(film) .
